They offer a competitive salary and benefits package with shareholder status in two years. Must be prepared to attend C-sections. Must live less than 30 minutes away from practice. Orange County has been the fastest growing county for the last 10 yrs and named as one of the 6 best places to practice in the US. The county has about 400,000. The quality of life is better as well as the pay. It is a fast growing area still despite the economy. Located only 20 minutes to Bergen County with exceptional shopping. Orange County itself is a beautiful suburban area with plenty of shops such as the famous Woodbury Commons, however, the housing is quite reasonable with the ability to own acreage at a reasonable cost. The housing is 3-4 times less than Westchester or Long Island, yet the payscale for the physicians is competitive. About 10-15% of the workforce in the county commutes in NYC, however the transportation to Manhattan is not very good since there is no direct train or bus. However, it is only 1 hour to the city by car without traffic of course. It would be difficult for a spouse to commute into the city every day. A new hospital is under construction and will be only 1 mile from the office. It is opening in 2 yrs. Will take H1B candidates. | ||||||||
